Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On Weekend 2020
1ST-3RD September - The Blackpool Illuminations Switch-On Festival Weekend is yet again set to be one of the biggest events in Blackpool! We are a minutes walk to the blackpool promenade, we have double and family rooms with guaranteed parking for each room.
Blackpool Illuminations have a rich history behind them and have become somewhat of an iconic part of British culture. Having been host to over 3.5 million visitors in 2014, Blackpool Illuminations have always been eager to please with an impressive list of former celebrity luminaries ranging from Andrew Lloyd Webber to Tim Burton.
At 10 kilometers long and using over one million bulbs the Blackpool Illuminations are an awesome spectacle.
Every year there is a Switch On concert with a celebrity to Switch On the Illuminations. In 2014 the Switch On was actually a Switch On weekend. With Friday´s Switch On being performed by Peter Kay, supported by a concert from Little Mix, Texas, George Ezra, Neon Jungle, Union J, Matt Cardle and more. Then on Saturday night the entertainment was from Thriller Live! and Sunday´s show was celebrating West End shows with Rebecca Ferguson. Who will be performing at the 2015 celebrations?
